About Us
Welcome to the world of woodturning. We have been in existence since 1991, have over 60 members and meet at Marwood Church Hall on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 7.00pm onwards. (Marwood is situated a few miles from Barnstaple, as shown on the map.We have an active program with many of the country's top professionals coming to demonstrate and show their skills.
Each month we have a project for all to enter (voluntary), with a simple critique during the evening and a raffle. At the end of the year your project entries qualify you for a draw from the hat for some cash prizes.
With a break for a “Cuppa”, a chat about our disasters and an opportunity to interact with others, makes for a very friendly evening. Have a look at our Photo Gallery to get ideas of what happens on our Club evenings, the Club Show and project table turnings.
